Kitchener, Ontario:

Team building retreats are essential to the executives of multinational companies like Toyota Motor Manufacturing. When a team is spread across the world, it’s important to get everyone together. In this case, the guests of honour included the President of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (see his video testimonial below) and Toyota’s executives visiting from Japan.

They were coming together for a day of meetings, followed by a celebratory dinner and show. The outing was hosted at the award-winning Deer Ridge Golf Club in Kitchener.

Early in the day, four hours before the first meeting, Sam and his technician arrived on-site to begin transforming the golf club into a dinner theatre. They supplied theatrical lighting, a crystal-clear sound system, and bright blue stage curtains. Once everything was set up, tested, and ready for the evening’s show, Sam and his technician left the venue. Later that night, once Toyota’s confidential meetings were complete, they returned to entertain the hard-working executives.

Guests were instantly engaged from the very beginning. Unlike a typical performance where the audience is seated relatively far away, guests were able to sit close to Sam and experience the magic happening mere feet away. The intimate nature of the venue made the magician’s performance even more impressive. Even up close, guests had no idea how the magic worked. Although they were likely laughing too much to worry about how Sam’s tricks are accomplished.
